Starting out: NC to KY

Daisy and I got away about 7:30 yesterday and got to my cousin's in KY about 4 pm. They live on a 67-acre farm atop a hill that overlooks the Blue Ridge--about 10 miles east of Winchester, KY. We had a nice supper and early-to-bed night. I took some cool pics but can't upload them b/c I am working on their computer (wireless issues prevent use of mine). Anyway this is the only one--it's Daisy running her fool head off this morning about 7 am.
I avoided all Interstates but I-40 this time and wandered thru' mountains in NC, VA, and KY. All so beautiful--and the leaves haven't even turned yet. As a sign, I guess, of the economy, almost every place where there was space at the side of the road there were people selling stuff--yardsale type stuff--and people buying it. Never saw so much by-the-road selling.
We'll be here a few days. More family comes tomorrow for our 21st Knight family reunion. Then we'll head further West; we'll see our trees in Missouri Tuesday or Wednesday.
